We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Social Media Analyst with expertise in social listening, performance tracking, and audience insights. This role involves monitoring digital conversations, analyzing trends, and providing data-driven recommendations to enhance our brands online presence and engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience with social media analytics tools, sentiment analysis, and competitor benchmarking
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Listening & Monitoring: Track brand mentions, industry trends, and consumer sentiment across platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit, etc.) using tools like Brandwatch, Sprinklr, or Talkwalker.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Measure engagement, reach, and sentiment metrics to assess campaign performance and social media impact.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor activities, share-of-voice, and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities and threats.
- Content Performance Evaluation: Assess content effectiveness and optimize social media strategies based on data insights.
- Trend Identification: Identify emerging trends, viral content, and audience behaviors to guide content and engagement strategies.
- Crisis Monitoring & Reputation Management: Provide real-time alerts and recommendations on potential PR crises based on social media conversations.
- Audience Insights: Analyze demographic and psychographic data to refine target audience strategies.
- Collaboration: Work with marketing, PR, and content teams to develop data-driven social media strategies
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in social media analytics, social listening, or digital marketing.
- Proficiency in social listening tools (e.g., Meltwater, Talkwalker, Sprout Social, Brandwatch).
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI).
- Understanding of social media algorithms and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in social media crisis management and reputation monitoring.
- Familiarity with SEO, paid media analytics, and influencer tracking.
- Knowledge of AI-powered social listening tools
