MOURI Tech is seeking an experienced Rubrik & Veeam Backup Administrator (SME) to join our Cloud & Engineering Infrastructure Services team. We are looking for a highly skilled professional to design, implement, and manage enterprise-level backup solutions using Rubrik and Veeam.

Role Overview :

As a Rubrik & Veeam Backup Administrator (SME), you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and availability of critical data through the design, implementation, and management of robust backup and recovery solutions. You will provide expert-level support, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data protection.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Design & Implementation :

- Design, implement, and manage Rubrik & Veeam backup solutions for enterprise environments.

- Develop and execute comprehensive backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.

Operational Management :

- Monitor and manage backup infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

- Troubleshoot backup failures and resolve complex issues.

- Optimize backup performance and ensure data availability.

Compliance & Security :

- Ensure compliance with backup policies, security standards, and data protection regulations.

- Implement and maintain security best practices for backup and recovery processes.

Collaboration & Automation :

- Collaborate with IT, security, and cloud teams for seamless integration and backup automation.

- Utilize scripting (PowerShell, Python) to automate backup and recovery tasks.

Expert Support & Documentation :

- Provide SME-level expertise, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

- Conduct disaster recovery testing and validation.

- Storage management.

Required Skills :

Backup & Recovery Expertise :

- Strong expertise in Rubrik & Veeam backup and recovery solutions.

- Hands-on experience in backup policy design, storage management, and disaster recovery testing.

Infrastructure Knowledge :

- Experience with Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Azure, and AWS.

Scripting & Automation :

- Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automation.

Troubleshooting & Problem Solving :

- Ability to troubleshoot complex backup & replication issues in large-scale environments.

Data Protection & Compliance :

- Ensuring data protection regulations are followed.

Qualifications :

- 7+ years of experience in backup administration, with a focus on Rubrik and Veeam.

- Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level backup solutions.

- Strong understanding of data protection and disaster recovery principles.
