Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Office Manager at SMC India in Bhubaneswar.
The Assistant Office Manager will be responsible for communication, administrative assistance, office equipment management, customer service, and office administration tasks on a daily basis.
Job Summary:
- We're seeking an experienced and organized Office Manager to oversee our day-to-day operations, ensure compliance, and maintain a smooth workflow.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commerce, excellent MS Office skills, and experience in handling labor laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Compliance Management:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, EPF, ESIC, and other regulations.
- Maintain good relationships with labor department and government agencies.
Operational Management:
- Track and prepare MIS reports on operational performance.
- Share reports with management and provide insights for improvement.
Financial Management:
- Manage and maintain petty cash, bills, and expenses.
- Ensure accurate reporting and maintenance of financial records.
HR and Compliance:
- Serve as a representative for HR and compliance matters.
- Handle employee grievances and provide resolutions through company channels and processes.
Employee Onboarding:.
- Coordinate with the operations team to onboard new employees at units and sites.
Administration:.
Perform administrative tasks, such as preparing letters, reports, and other documents.
Requirements:.
- Graduate degree in Commerce ,B.COM/M.com.
- 5+ years of experience in office management, HR, or a related field.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, EPF, ESIC, and other regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills and local from Odisha.
