Senior Equity Research Analyst - Special Situation Desk (4-8 yrs)

We are looking forward for a suitable candidate for the position of Senior Equity Research Analyst- Special Situation Desk.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough and comprehensive equity research on companies within various sectors, analyzing financial statements, industry trends, and macroeconomic factors to identify investment opportunities and risks.

2. Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate company performance, assess valuations, and project future earnings and cash flows.

3. Generate in-depth investment reports, including investment theses, competitive analysis, and SWOT analysis, providing clear and concise investment recommendations.

4. Monitor and track existing investments, regularly updating investment theses based on company-specific and market-related developments.

5. Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and other members of the investment team to provide research-driven insights and contribute to the overall investment process.

6. Contribute to the development and enhancement of investment research processes, methodologies, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications & Background:

1. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Equity Research Analyst on buyside/sellside

2. Proven expertise in analyzing companies across multiple sectors, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry dynamics and trends.

3. Demonstrated track record of generating alpha and making successful investment recommendations.

4. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a track record of building complex financial models and conducting detailed financial statement analysis, equity valuations and investment analysis.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas and research findings in a clear and concise manner.

6. Proactive and self-motivated mindset, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

7. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, CFA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
