Qc Microbiologist

Role & responsibilities

1. Microbial limit testing of bulk drugs, raw materials etc.
2. Daily lab monitoring, maintenance of media preparation record, media stock record, growth promotion test records, DHS records, media records etc.
3. Water sampling and analysis validation
4. Bioload testing for equipment's packaging materials etc.
5. Ensuring the environmental conditions like temperature, humidity controls are available to carry out analysis.
6. To implement the calibration of instruments as per the SOP, to ensure the disposal of media, cultures as per SOP's
7. Ensure the entry of analyzed samples in the respective registers.
8. analyses of samples, reporting, checking the reports, records etc.
9. To ensure GMP and GLP guidelines followed.
10. To maintain data for documentation, test procedures and reprocess abnormalities.
11. To review and update standard operating procedures.
12. To monitor housekeeping, safety and self-hygiene practices.
13. Ensuring food safety and self-hygiene practices.
14. Initiating, recommending and providing effective solutions to problems related to food safety.
15. Controlling further processing until all conditions are satisfactory.
16. Any other works instructed by your reporting authority.
