SLK Software is seeking a skilled and experienced Integration Engineer specializing in APIs to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of API technologies, integration patterns, and a passion for connecting systems seamlessly. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our integration infrastructure.
Job Summary:
The Integration Engineer APIs is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between various systems using APIs. This includes working closely with other engineers, understanding integration requirements, building robust and scalable integrations, and ensuring the smooth flow of data between applications.
Responsibilities:
Integration Design Development: Design and develop API based integrations between different systems, including cloud based applications, on premise systems, and third party services.
API Development if needed: Develop and maintain APIs to support integration needs. This may involve modifying existing APIs or creating new ones.
Integration Patterns: Implement various integration patterns, such as message queues, event driven architectures, and ETL processes.
API Management: Utilize API management platforms to monitor, secure, and manage APIs.
Testing: Develop and execute integration tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of integrations.
Monitoring Support: Monitor integrations for performance and errors, and provide support to resolve integration issues.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand integration requirements and deliver high quality integrations.
Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for integrations, including design specifications, API documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
Security: Implement security best practices to protect data and API endpoints.
