Installation and configuration of PostgreSQL database software using both source code, rpm packages.

Creation of databases, tablespaces, and database objects.

Creation of users and groups, granting required privileges on database to users.

Deploying the scripts given by the application team.

Taking logical backups using the pg_dump, doing restoration using pg_restore.

Taking full cluster backups using pg_basebackup.

Migrating Oracle, Db2 LUW Schemas and Data to PostgreSQL

Understand Application Team requirements and building databases as per requirements.

Attending production support issues.

Attending calls with application Team, understand requirement and design from logistics to Database DB creation starting with Development to Production go Live.

Provide production support for DB related issues.

Carry out DB version upgrade and patching activity.
