Network Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, network security policies, and firewall configurations.
• Perform network upgrades, maintenance, and configuration changes as required.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with IT teams to optimize network performance and resolve technical issues.
• Provide documentation and reports on network performance and incidents.

Preferred candidate profile

• CISCO Certification (CCNA/CCNP preferred).
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in network administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and switching technologies (VLAN, STP).
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and network security solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Dharwad.
