It Infrastructure Engineer

Minimum Requirements:

• CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, MCSE, or Azure Administrator

Role & responsibilities:

• Manage and Optimize IT Infrastructure: Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT systems
• Networking Devices Management: Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain devices like Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and WLCs
• Advanced Networking Technologies: Handle routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and manage load balancers for efficient communication
• Switching Technologies: Manage VLANs, trunking, STP, port security, and ensure secure network segmentation with ACLs and IPsec VPNs
• Firewall and VPN Management: Configure and manage firewalls (Cisco Meraki, Fortigate, Sophos, pfSense) and secure internal/external traffic with VPNs
• Network Monitoring: Use tools like Zabbix or PRTG to monitor and optimize network performance
• VoIP Systems Management: Ensure operation of VoIP systems, configure SIP trunking, PBX, and optimize QoS for real-time communication
• Server Administration: Manage Windows and Linux server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and security tools (SELinux, iptables)
• SSL/TLS Management: Configure and troubleshoot SSL certificates for secure communications
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Manage Veeam backup solutions, monitor storage, and regularly test disaster recovery plans
• Virtualization Management: Administer VMware/Hyper-V virtual environments, optimize resource usage, and handle VM lifecycle tasks
• Cloud Services Management: Oversee AWS (EC2, S3, RDS) and Azure services, automate deployments, and ensure secure connectivity in hybrid cloud environments
• Client-Side Troubleshooting: Resolve issues with PCs, peripherals, and applications, and support IT projects
• IT Budget and Procurement: Develop and manage the IT budget, optimize procurement, and improve ROI through efficient resource management
• Cybersecurity Compliance: Conduct vulnerability assessments and ensure cybersecurity standards by applying necessary patches.
