Network Administrator

Job Description:

• Handson experience in managing the network infrastructure, majorly manageable and unmanageable switches, handling VLANs etc.
• Experience or knowledge in ticketing majorly in Service Now, OTRS or JIRA.
• Management of Assets.
• Experience in handling Change Request thereby documenting the Change Request and Work Flows.
• Hands—on experience in handling the firewall thereby understanding of Implementation and management of firewall rules and security policies to protect the network from unauthorized access and threats.
• Regularly review and update firewall configurations to align with security best practices.
• Design, configure, and maintain site-to—Site VPN connections.
• Administer SSL and IPSec VPN solutions for remote user access to corporate resources.
• Troubleshoot VPN connectivity issues, including authentication, encryption, and tunnel establishment problems.
• Implement security policies and access controls tor VPN users.
• Configuration management of Routers/switches including VLAN segregation, access lists etc.
• Regularly update IDS/IPS signatures and rules to detect and block emerging threats effectively.
• Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including configurations, diagrams, and inventory.
• Generate regular reports on network performance, security, and availability for management review.
• Documentation relating to network configurations, processes, and procedures PCI Audits
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, security professionals, and application developers.
• Communicate network status and project updates effectively to stakeholders.
• Provide Supports to the User.
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of Windows server 2016, 2019 and 2022(Active Directory, Group Policy etc.)
• Experience in installing and configuring Linux systems.
• Experience in database installation and configuration.
• Good knowledge of VM and Hyper-V environment.
• Knowledge on system hardening of Windows and Linux.
• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.
• Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration; system installation; documenting system standards.
• Patching and upgrading of Windows/VMware infrastructure.
• Administrator for mailing system like 0365 and Google app.
• Endpoint Security Management.
