Abinitio MD Hub Developer

Overall Experience : 8 to 15 years

Location : Bangalore

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement metadata models within the Ab Initio MD Hub environment.

- Configure and customize MD Hub components such as Object Model, Import process, Technical Lineage, Business Lineage, Business Glossary, Dynamic Attributes, Semantic Discovery, Reference Data, Issue Management, Data Catalog, Metadata Reports, Knowledge Graph, and Workflow Management.

- Build and maintain custom extractors to integrate data from various sources into MD Hub.

- Ensure data quality and accuracy within the metadata repository.

- Support data governance initiatives by implementing data quality rules, data lineage tracking, and data classification.

- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business users to understand their data needs and translate them into effective metadata models.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to metadata extraction, loading, and management.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest releases and features of Ab Initio MD Hub and related technologies.

- Participate in the design and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.

- Adhere to industry best practices for metadata management and data governance.

- Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient data operations.

Qualifications :

- 8-15 years of hands-on experience with Ab Initio MD Hub, Express-It, Data Quality Framework, Data Catalog, GDE, and Semantic Discovery with the latest versions.

- In-depth knowledge of Ab Initio latest releases and their features.

- Proven ability to customize MD Hub tools to meet unique business requirements.

- Excellent knowledge of MD Hub features : Object Model, Import process, Technical Lineage, Business Lineage, Business Glossary, Dynamic Attributes, Semantic Discovery, Reference Data, Issue Management, Data Catalog, Metadata Reports, Knowledge Graph, Workflow Management.

- Capability to build custom extractors for data integration.

- Strong understanding of Data Governance frameworks, including DPDP compliance and GDPR.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Skills :

- Experience with other data integration and data quality tools.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Shell)
