Position Summary:
- We are seeking an Operations Manager to establish and oversee our data gathering and annotation processes in Bangalore.
- This role will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring quality and efficiency, and driving continuous improvement in our data pipeline.
- The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong organizational and project management skills, preferably with experience in data operations or related fields.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Set Up Operations: Plan, organize, and implement the initial infrastructure and workflows for data collection and annotation.
2. Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of operational staff to meet quality and productivity targets.
3. Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
4. Process Improvement: Continuously identify areas for optimization in workflows, tools, and team practices to enhance efficiency and scalability.
5. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with third-party vendors (if applicable) and internal stakeholders (product, engineering, etc.) to align operational goals with project requirements.
6. Resource Allocation: Manage budgets, tools, and technology needed for smooth operations; ensure cost-effectiveness.
7. Reporting & Analytics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports on operational efficiency, quality metrics, and team performance.
8. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operational processes adhere to relevant regulations, data privacy standards, and organizational policies.
