About the Role:
- We are seeking a dynamic & result oriented professional with a D2C e-commerce/Start-up background. The candidate should possess strong leadership skills & extensive financial expertise.
- This role will require strategic planning and exceptional numerical proficiency to aid the organization in maintaining financial growth, formulating sound financial strategies, implementing proper internal controls, achieving organizational targets and developing financial plans that support organizational strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Leadership:
- Lead the finance function in aligning financial goals with the company's long-term strategy.
- Provide strategic direction on financial and operational goals.
- Work closely with senior management to develop and implement growth strategies, including new business opportunities and financial risk management.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Analyze financial trends and performance to drive business decisions and profitability.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Ensure the company's financial statements are accurate, compliant with accounting standards, and adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the preparation of regular MIS, quarterly and annual reports,
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, managing relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Establish strong controls and financial governance practices across the organization. Build strong and resilient audit process internally including plant and materials audit
Team Management & Development:
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Ensure proper financial processes and internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (Required).
- Any professional certification (e.g., CA, CFA, CPA) is a mandatory requirement.
- A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
