TIBCO WebFOCUS Consultant - Business Intelligence (3-6 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced TIBCO WebFOCUS Developer with a solid background in business intelligence, data visualization, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have expertise in TIBCO WebFOCUS tools and a passion for transforming data into actionable insights through customized dashboards and reports.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, customize, and maintain reports and dashboards using TIBCO WebFOCUS App Studio.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Create and optimize business intelligence solutions using WebFOCUS, including Business Intelligence Portals (BIP), Report Caster, Info Assist, and Web Console.

- Manage data visualization and ensure that the representations are clear, insightful, and accurate.

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to WebFOCUS reports, data retrieval, and integration with databases.

- Implement best practices around page design, responsive UI design, and KPI charts.

- Work with databases such as MS SQL Server and MySQL to retrieve and manage data for reporting.

- Ensure error handling and performance optimization in WebFOCUS systems.

- Stay up to date with new features and updates in TIBCO WebFOCUS and related BI technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 3+ years of experience working with TIBCO WebFOCUS and BI tools.

- Proficiency in creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using FOCUS language.

- Strong understanding of SQL, FOCUS, JavaScript, and HTML.

- Familiarity with MS SQL Server and MySQL databases.

- Experience with error handling and troubleshooting in WebFOCUS systems.

- Knowledge of Web Application Development and UI/UX design principles.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (such as Business Analytics, Mathematics, or Computer Science).

Preferred Skills :

- Certifications in TCA TIBCO WebFOCUS and TCP TIBCO WebFOCUS.

- Experience with Microsoft Power BI and Tableau for data analysis and visualization.

- Familiarity with SQL Server administration and MySQL database management.

- Knowledge of best practices in Responsive Web Design for BI applications.

Education :

- MBA in Business Analytics or a related field from a recognized institution.

- BSc in Mathematics or a related field.
