Accountant

Important Note:

This is a full-time work-from-home position. The Flexible Work hours are 3:30 PM -12:30 AM (Indian Standard Time) Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Billing and Client Charging:
• Accurately prepare and send client invoices based on project agreements and service delivery.
• Ensure timely follow-ups for overdue payments and maintain accurate records of client accounts.
• Bookkeeping and Financial Management:
• Maintain and update the companys financial records with precision.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and client accounts regularly.
• Assist in budget preparation and expense tracking.
• Software Management:
• Use QuickBooks to manage bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and agency-specific financial processes.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare regular financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Provide insights into cash flow, revenue trends, and expense management.
• Communication and Client Interaction:
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate billing and client communication.
• Communicate effectively with English-speaking clients (US/UK/Australian) regarding account queries, billing, or payment issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required if experience is substantial).
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in a marketing or service-based agency.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is highly desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience working with clients from English-speaking regions (US, UK, Australia) is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance in relevant jurisdictions is a plus.

Remote Work Requirements:

• Access to an uninterrupted, quiet workspace with a comfortable table, chair, and clean backdrops
• The camera is to be turned ON during all conference calls
• A minimum of 40 Mbps stable internet connection
• UPS or generator backup

Special Requirements:

Can solve or is willing to learn how to solve Rubiks cube in under 5 minutes (No, we’re not joking)

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

• Write Blog Post Copies for US-based Businesses
• Curate Newsletters for Service-based Businesses
• Conduct thorough Content Research

Bonus:

Guidance: 40-50 Hrs per week Mon-Fri 3:30 PM-12:30 AM Mon-Fri (IST)
Flexibility: Flexible Hours as long as all client/work meetings and requirements are met.
