Data Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Data Architect, or similar role in a data-driven environment.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as NodeJS, Python or Springboot.
• Strong SQL skills, with experience in database management (e.g., MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.).
• Experience with Azure cloud platforms particularly in data storage and processing services.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow, Talend, etc.).
• Familiarity with data warehousing solutions and data modeling techniques.
• Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, etc.) and Machine Learning is a plus.
• Strong understanding of data security principles and best practices.
• Ability to optimize query performance for Millions of rows of data.
