Business Development Intern

Position Summary:

The Business Development Intern will work closely with the business development and sales teams to identify new business opportunities, support market research, and assist in sales and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Research: Assist in conducting market research to identify industry trends, potential clients, and new business opportunities.
• Lead Generation: Support the team in generating and qualifying new leads through online research, cold calls, emails, and networking activities.
• Sales Support: Help prepare sales presentations, proposals, and reports to aid in client acquisition and retention.
• CRM Management: Update and maintain the customer relationship management (CRM) system with client interactions, leads, and opportunities.
• Client Outreach: Assist in drafting outreach emails, follow-ups, and engaging with potential clients on various communication platforms (phone, email, LinkedIn).
• Competitor Analysis: Assist in analyzing competitor products, services, and marketing strategies to help refine business development tactics.
• Event Support: Help coordinate and participate in marketing events, webinars, and conferences to generate new business.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular reports on business development activities, lead progress, and client acquisition metrics.
• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and sales teams to align business development strategies with company goals.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong interest in business development, sales, and the IT industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
• Ability to conduct research and analyze data to inform decision-making.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
