We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Business Development Manager to spearhead our efforts in acquiring and expanding business from Global Capability Centers (GCCs) of- large multinational companies that have set up their technology centers in Bangalore.
The ideal candidate will have a strong network within GCCs, a deep understanding of IT services, and experience in selling software solutions, digital transformation services, and IT consulting to enterprise clients.
Experience: 7+ years in IT Sales / Business Development, with a focus on GCCs.
Industry: IT Services, Software Development, Digital Transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Sales Strategy:.
- Identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision-makers (CXOs, IT Heads, Procurement, and Business Leaders) within GCCs.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive new business and expand existing accounts.
- Work closely with internal teams to tailor IT solutions and proposals that align with client needs.
Lead Generation & Market Penetration:.
- Research and analyze the GCC ecosystem in Bangalore to identify potential business opportunities.
- Develop a strong pipeline of potential clients through networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums focused on GCCs.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management:.
- Build long-term relationships with GCC leaders to position the company as a preferred IT services partner.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and manage accounts for upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Collaboration & Reporting:.
- Work closely with the technical, delivery, and pre-sales teams to structure winning proposals.
- Track sales activities, pipeline, and revenue growth using CRM tools.
- Provide market insights and competitor analysis to leadership for refining business strategies.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 7+ years in IT services sales, business development, or account management.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT solutions, software development, cloud, digital transformation, and enterprise technology.
- Network & GCC Expertise: Prior experience in selling IT services to GCCs in Bangalore is a huge plus.
- Sales & Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Communication & Presentation: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to engage senior leadership.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, drive results, and expand business opportunities.
