About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven IT Sales Manager to expand our client base in the Singapore market, focusing on staff augmentation and custom software development services.
You will be responsible for identifying and onboarding new clients, developing targeted sales strategies, generating and converting leads, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
This role requires a strong understanding of the IT landscape, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a proven track record of sales success.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Client Acquisition: Identify and onboard new clients, focusing on staff augmentation and custom software development services.
- Market Expansion (Singapore): Develop and execute strategies to target and expand the client base specifically within the Singapore market.
- This includes market research, identifying key decision-makers, and understanding specific industry needs.
- Lead Generation & Conversion: Generate, track, and convert leads into successful business opportunities.
- Utilize various lead generation channels, including networking, online marketing, industry events, and referrals.
- Sales Presentations & Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and contracts tailored to individual client requirements.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of our services.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics within the Singapore IT landscape to inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure alignment on client needs and successful project execution.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between sales and delivery teams.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline, tracking progress and forecasting sales revenue.
- Reporting: Regularly report on sales activities, performance against targets, and market trends.
- Qualifications: Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in IT sales, with a proven track record of success in staff augmentation and custom software development.
- Strong understanding of the Singapore market and client needs.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and achieve sales targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
- Preferred Qualifications: Existing network of contacts within the Singapore IT market.
- Experience selling IT services to specific industry verticals (e.g, finance, healthcare, technology).
- Knowledge of different pricing models for staff augmentation and custom software development
