Assistant Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Devises new ways to expand that client base.
• Develops promotional and advertising materials for the hotel.
• Reaches out to corporate houses to promote the hotels for conferences and events.
• Meets with representatives from these companies to explain the hotels merits and amenities.
• Networks with wedding planners and special event planners to encourage hotel bookings.
• Designs and advertises special group rates and packages to increase larger bookings.
• Maintains positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat and recurring business.
• Must be well informed on market intelligence, new developments, competition rates etc.

Preferred candidate profile

• Should have good market knowledge of Mumbai Corporate and Travel Agents.
• Minimum 5-7 years experience as a Sales Senior Executive, preferably in the hotel industry.
• Exhibits excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent English communication and written skills.
• Is familiar with the workings of the hotel and hospitality industry.
• Good negotiation and convincing skills.
