Job Description

Simran Export Inc. is seeking a Sales Merchandiser to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the export business, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a strong work ethic. As a Sales Merchandiser, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building and nurturing relationships with international buyers, managing the sampling process, and ensuring smooth order fulfillment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth & Client Management:
    • Build and nurture relationships with international buyers across various global markets, ensuring long-term partnerships.
    • Drive sales through strategic communication, effective negotiation, and understanding of client needs.
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities for market expansion and revenue growth.
  • Sampling & Product Presentation:
    • Manage the sampling process, ensuring timely delivery of samples that accurately represent our products to clients.
    • Create tailored sales presentations and proposals that align with client needs, showcasing the value and quality of our products.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:
    • Work closely with internal teams, including production, design, shipping, and accounts, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
    • Coordinate with teams to ensure that customer expectations are met and exceeded in all aspects of order processing.
  • Sales Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain precise and up-to-date sales records, ensuring all communications and transactions are accurately documented.
    • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to track progress, performance, and follow-ups.
  • International Trade Knowledge:
    • Apply knowledge of international trade processes and documentation to ensure compliance and smooth cross-border transactions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 4+ years of experience in the export business or sales, preferably in the handicraft or fragrance industry.
    • Experience working with international clients and understanding of export documentation processes is a must.
  • Key Skills:
    • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong rapport and drive successful outcomes.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Export EMS software for smooth communication and order processing.
    • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Hard-working, adaptable, and results-driven.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: ₹25,000 ₹35,000 per month (depending on experience).
  • Work Location: Mangolpuri Industrial Area, New Delhi.
