Product Development Executive/Assistant Manager (Sanitaryware)

Role & responsibilities

1. Product Design and Development:

• Utilize NX software for product modeling, simulation, and design optimization of sanitaryware products.
• Develop innovative designs that meet customer needs, functional requirements, and aesthetic appeal.

2. Project Management:

• Manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle, including concept development, prototyping, testing, and final production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.

3. Market Research and Analysis:

• Stay updated with market trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in the sanitaryware industry.
• Incorporate market insights into product design and innovation strategies.

4. Technical Expertise:

• Conduct feasibility studies, design analysis, and material selection for sanitaryware products.
• Ensure products comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

5. Quality Assurance:

• Work closely with the quality assurance team to conduct tests and evaluations, ensuring product reliability, durability, and safety.
• Address and resolve design and manufacturing issues during the product development process.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare detailed design documentation, specifications, and reports using NX software and Auto Cad.
• Maintain comprehensive records of product development activities and progress.

Preferred candidate profile

• Technical Expertise:
• Proficiency in NX software for CAD, CAM, and CAE.
• Strong understanding of Sanitaryware materials, manufacturing processes, and design principles related to sanitaryware.
• Industry Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product development, specifically in the sanitaryware industry.
• Hands-on experience in managing product lifecycles and bringing new products to market.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with 3D printing and prototyping techniques.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and eco-friendly materials.
• Experience with product development tools and project management tools and methodologies.
