Position brief:
As a Sales Person, One needs to evaluate customer requirements and develop most competitive & complete, techno-commercial solution, in alignment with Simplinity products, which, matches with client specifications and aligned with company standards to contribute while winning orders & company strategic goals. Also, provide organisation with insight into customer/market opportunities, data, competitive intelligence and trends. This includes development and delivery of annual sales business plans, budgets and forecasts by product and market for the region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with inhouse team on Sales target and develop and deliver the agreed sales plan and bookings budget.
2. Maintain close contact with customers to identify new business opportunities in the marketplace and to obtain feedback on project and quotation status.
3. Continually gather critical site information about Simplinity installed base and use it to prospect for upcoming opportunities.
4. Preparation of clear and definitive technical and commercial proposals in accordance with defined scopes of supply.
5. Work with design team & Project Manager in winning contracts by distinguishing Simplinity proposals and capabilities that provide value to the customer.
6. Maintain proposal documentation in line with company procedures and policy to ensure compliance with QA standards.
7. Act as a single point of contact for client on technical issues and manage company/client relationship to ensure the highest level of service.
8. Take an active role in customer care during contract /project execution.
9. Responsible to provide accurate reports to monitor performance measurements and maintain up-to-date records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
10. Increase sales effectiveness by increasing product knowledge through educational offerings, marketing materials, communications and technology so that the focus is on selling solutions, not just products.
11. Promote and sustain a continuous improvement culture within the sales team
12. Provide in depth product knowledge support to other team associates, when required.
13. Weekly and Monthly Forecasting of Bookings & Sales.
14. Monthly Status reporting & Monthly Review Meetings with Director on Backlog Reports, Improvements etc.
Qualifying Criteria:
1. 2years of relevant commercial business experience & Commercial awareness to produce
competitive, cost effective offering.
2. Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with customers, Technical consultant and
internal stakeholders.
3. Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation and customer issue resolution skills.
4. Integrity and high moral and ethical standards.
5. Able to work under pressure, tight timelines, as well as independently managing time,
schedules and customer interface.
6. Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential
7. Hands on product & application knowledge of the Simplinity product.
8. Understanding of diversity and cultural differences and how to operate effectively in the Indian region
9. Experience selling highly technical products and packages.
10. Knowledge and experience of working using the CRM Tool
11. Team Handling and Leadership Skills.
12. Integrity and high moral and ethical standards.
13. Able to work independently managing time, schedules and customer interface.
14. Negotiation and management of complex contracts
15. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
16. Demonstrate ability in achieving & sustaining commercial success
17. Able to thrive in a high-stress and fast-paced environment.
Education
1. Bachelors/Masters Degree in a Business, Engineering or related field
