Role: Student Advisor
About the role:
As the Student Advisor at Fullstack Academy (A Simplilearn Company), you will support
and educate prospective students for Fullstack Academyâs immersive tech education programs.
You will proactively reach out to prospective students to learn about their educational needs,
goals and aspirations. You will inspire students by describing the nature, value and career
possibilities of our programs. You will collaborate across the enrollment advising team and the
company to ensure alignment between student needs, our program offerings, and the ways we
engage potential students.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
â Conduct outbound calls to potential students who have expressed an interest in learning
more about immersive tech education.
â Engage with potential students over the phone to understand their goals and interests
and assess whether one or more of Fullstack Academyâs courses align with their needs.
â Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the unique features and value of our
programs, and dynamically align these features with a potential studentâs stated
aspirations and goals.
â Follow up with prospective students after initial calls, connecting them with program
resources, introducing them to other members of the Fullstack Academy team, and
sending reminders about upcoming dates and deadlines, as necessary.
â Record notes and update CRM databases with pertinent information gathered during
enrollment advising calls.
â Support the Student Advisory function in achieving program enrollment targets.
â Collaborate with members of the marketing team and our product team to stay informed
about the evolving aspects of our various Fullstack Academy programs.
â Occasionally, take on responsibilities that include delivering virtual information-driven
presentations, conducting mail merges, creating email templates, and reporting
on/analyzing individual results
Qualiï¬cations:
We think you are a great candidate if you have:
â 2+ years of experience in an outbound sales role
â An enthusiastic, engaging, and genuine communication style on the phone
â A high degree of ownership over your work and results, and an internal drive to meet and
exceed goals
â The ability to quickly make connections, dynamically synthesizing what you hear from a
potential student and drawing a line to our programâs unique features and value
â A strong sense of personal integrity and values, and a desire to genuinely help people
improve their lives
â A passion for education and technology
