You ll make a difference by:
Effectively managing and maintaining the organizations IT infrastructure.
This includes ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of all infrastructure components, as well as delivering high-quality asset management services, including contract management, asset register maintenance, and work order management.
Key Responsibilities:
1) IT Infrastructure Management:
Having ability to Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure components including servers, networks, storage, and databases.
Ensuring infrastructure reliability, performance, and security.
Performing regular system upgrades, patches, and backups.
2) Service Management:
Managing and supporting service management tooling.
Ensuring compliance with defined SLAs and service quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
3) Asset Management:
Maintain an accurate asset register, ensuring all assets are tracked and accounted for.
Manage contracts and relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
Oversee the creation and management of work orders, ensuring timely completion.
4) Monitoring Interfaces:
Implement and manage monitoring tools and interfaces to ensure proactive issue detection.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools for infrastructure performance.
5) Service Schedules & Maintenance Plans:
Develop and implement service schedules and maintenance plans.
Ensure regular maintenance tasks are performed and documented.
Optimize maintenance processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
6) Task Lists Management:
Create and manage task lists for infrastructure-related activities.
Prioritize tasks based on business needs and resource availability.
Ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator.
You ll win us over by:
Having An engineering degree B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/M.Sc with good academic record.
Proven experience in IT infrastructure management.
Strong understanding of network, server, and storage technologies.
Experience with asset management and contract management.
Proficiency in monitoring and management tools (e.g., Grafana, Nagios, SolarWinds).
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
