Job Description
Advanced user of 3D CAD software (e.g., CREO/PROe/Inventor/UG), PDM Link/Teamcenter, 2D CAD (e.g., AUTOCAD),
Knowledge of calculations and designing transformer tank, stiffeners, cover and external components like coolers, conservator, pipe work, turrets, external conduit cabling etc.
Experience in FEA software (ANSYS/Pro Mechanical)
Experience of preparation of customer documentation like General arrangement, foundation, valve plate etc.
Knowledge of sizing/selecting of accessories like MOG, fan, pumps, terminals, cable routing, breather, valves, bellows etc.
Knowledge of tank design practices of European sites and global customers
Knowledge of relevant national & international standards for transformers.
We don t need superheroes, just super minds.
Bachelor s or Master s Degree, mechanical engineering preferred, other engineering degrees will be considered with applicable experience in mechanical design.
More than 8 years working experience as a design engineer (or related roles)
