We need to expand our Digital Core team with one additional teammate, and we are looking for you! Additionally, You will also be working as KONG API Expert system. You will be running technical deep dive and architecture sessions with customers and partners. Implementing Proof of Concepts with customers, advising prospects and customers on the use of the SnapLogic, its Integration patterns with SAP ERP and S/4 systems, Salesforce etc. and demonstrating such integrations in form of API.
How You ll Make an Impact / Responsibilities
Partnering with other architects, vendors, partners, business, and technical teams to understand business needs and translate them into capability/platform roadmaps and work toward realizing the roadmaps
Collaborating with product owners, business analysts, and developers to identify, develop, document, and deliver APIs
Design, develop, test and implement APIs for use in software applications
Integrate with and contribute to assigned API
Analyze, design, and coordinate the development of major components of the API management system and downstream APIs including hands on implementation, testing, review, build automation, and documentation
Solve operational issues as required
Ensure coding standard processes and test coverage through peer reviewing
Working across ocean to support Siemens Energy internal and external customers.
You will Implement standard processes/design patterns and continuously coach/mentor team members. Act as primary technical evangelist on behalf of integration team for various integration patterns involving SnapLogic and API s in optimizing adoption and use of its service.
You will ensure alignment to defined guidelines, processes, and procedures, while working within the work with development team to craft and implement innovative solutions with a focus on adhering to standards, best practices, and code quality techniques
You will work to build and maintain effective working relationship with key technology team members. You will Support Distributed team in analyst briefings (Forrester, Gartner, IDC, etc.)
What You Bring / Skills, Capabilities
You should be having total 4-8 years of work experience into Data Integration with at least 2 years of experience into API Management.
Should have bachelor s or master s degree in engineering with Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
Experience into technology consulting, architecture and design focusing Enterprise Integration, and API Management
Key expertise in providing Integration Modernization and recommendation of leading iPaaS products (Kong Enterprise)
Hands on experience in Enterprise-wide API management including API Design, API Documentation, API Security and Compliance, API Ops and API Performance Optimization
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
You must be proficient in modern API concepts like GraphQL, gRPC, Async APIs.
Good command in writing API contracts using Swagger and async API specifications
Maintaining a performant API catalog/developer portal to provide resources, documentation, and tools for developers to consume APIs.
Depth understanding of microservice design patterns and service mesh concepts
Should have good understanding of web methodologies, REST Architecture, SOA, ESB, APIs, Web services, WSDL, Open API, XML, JSON etc.
Good to have interface architecture knowledge with one or more on-premises/ SaaS packaged solutions for ERP, CRM, PLM systems (e.g., SAP, S/4 Hana, Salesforce, Teamcenter, Oracle etc.)
Languages: Lua, JavaScript/Typescript and python.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills and an ability to help customers find the right solution (not the obvious/easy one).
