Desktop Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support:

Provide first-level support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly.
System Maintenance:

Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems, applications, and software.
Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring minimal downtime.
Troubleshooting:

Respond to user-reported issues through phone, email, or in-person support.
Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
Network Support:

Assist in troubleshooting basic network issues such as connectivity, IP configuration, and VPN access.
Coordinate with the network team for advanced network-related problems.
Hardware Management:

Set up and replace hardware components like CPUs, monitors, RAM, and storage drives.
Manage inventory of IT hardware and peripherals.
Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain records of issues, solutions, and client interactions in a ticketing system.
Prepare regular reports on system performance and support activities.
User Training:

Provide training and guidance to users on basic IT troubleshooting and best practices.
Assist in onboarding new employees with system setup and orientation.
