Transport Safety Officer @ Hyderabad

Main Purpose : To monitor and coordinate transportation in real-time, ensuring efficient and safe operations by tracking vehicle movements and driver behaviour through Advanced Driver Assistance system(ADAS) by coordinating with driver Coaches/locations, Investigating Incidents and Improving compliance with Transport Safety standards.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Continuously track real-time vehicle movements through the ADAS system to ensure optimal route adherence and safety compliance.
• To have only authorized drivers operating vehicles by proactively mapping drivers into the ADAS system promptly by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate with responsible persons at locations across the BU to ensure drivers respond effectively to in-cabin voice alerts, taking immediate corrective actions when necessary.
• Coordination with the driver coaches to enhance the driver safety behavior while driving vehicle on road with feedback given by ADAS.
• Complete ADAS installation in new vehicles within the SLA to maintain fleet safety and compliance standards.
• Ensure all ADAS systems and surveillance cameras remain fully operational at all times, monitoring functionality through coordination with vendor proactively.
• Coordinate with the ADAS vendor to rectify any defective devices within the SLA.
• Coordinate with the corporate logistics team to ensure timely monthly payments to the ADAS vendor, maintaining effective vendor relationships.
• Implement geofencing on new routes and customer locations based on inputs from logistics executives and commercial officers.
• Ensure vehicles adhere strictly to geofenced, designated routes to optimize security and efficiency.
• Provide detailed monthly reports to management on the Transport Operation Center's (TOC) operational performance, highlighting key metrics and improvement areas.

Qualification & Competencies

• Any Graduate with 3 years of experience in transport safety profile
• Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills
• Team Management Skills
• Good Data Analysis Skills (Advance Excel)
• Knowledge of Transport Regulations and Safety Standards
