Safety Officer ( Training & Audit)

Education Preferred: Diploma / BE Degree (minimum 3 years course any discipline)

plus 1 year diploma in safety

Height: 165cm minimum

*Duties of Fire Officer:

a)To conduct Fire, safety and electrical audits & safety related

trainings (classroom & practical),

b) to prepare PPT for above trainings, to promote safety culture at industries

c) Knowledge of fire prevention and protection systems/ equipment and their maintenance.

d) To impart fire training to all types of employees & Training of fire crews and fire operators.

e) Responsibility for day-to-day Fire Dept. functioning and activities.

f) Implementation of emergency action plans and assist incident controller.

g) Conducting the fire drills, fire mock Drill & attend the Fire mock drills

h) To carry out Fire survey and Fire Safety Audits in hazardous and store area.

i) Planning and procurement of fire extinguishers and equipments & spares required for maintenance of

fire extinguishers and equipments.

j) Liaison with local fire service Department.

k) Good command/control and communication skills.

l) To carry out fire prevention rounds.

m) Attend the all type of emergencies within response time.

n) To capture unsafe act and unsafe conditions and ensure remedial actions are taken.

o) To ensure that maintenance of fire extinguishers, Hydrant system, Sprinkler system, Fire alarm system and fire vehicles carried out in time

p) To carry out fire incident investigation.

q) To arrange Fire Safety learning Visits.Role & responsibilities
