Mechanical Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design and develop the tank structure and integrate it with the vehicle chassis using CAD software.
• Conduct stress, durability, and vibration analysis to ensure structural stability during transportation.
• Select appropriate materials for tank construction, insulation, and corrosion resistance.
• Collaborate with aquaculture and electrical specialists to integrate aeration, water filtration, and oxygenation mechanisms into the tank design.
• Ensure efficient thermal insulation to maintain stable water temperature within the tank.
• Perform prototype testing and implement design improvements based on results.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with fabrication teams to oversee the manufacturing process and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Travel to Ground Zero and take care of the implementation

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis, preferably in fluid mechanics or vehicle design.
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, structural analysis, and thermal systems.
• Knowledge of materials science, with a focus on durability and corrosion resistance.
• Experience working on vehicle chassis design and integration is highly desirable.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize designs.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
