Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Conduct thermal/fluid analysis and optimize the design which meet given requirements, validate learnings with test data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate thermal/fluid solutions into overall product designs and decision.
- Utilize CAD/UG or similar and 1D/2D/3D modeling tools for thermal, flow system design and analysis.
- Apply and develop best practices in day-to-day activities.
- Effectively communicate concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Independently manage tasks within projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. Independence / work without direct supervision.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- MTech / MS/Ph D in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering/?Thermal Engineering or equivalent degree
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience on thermal design/analyses of gas turbine/adjacent domain
- Basic understanding of Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Turbomachines, secondary flow design fundamental
- Proficiency in thermal simulation, design tools (e.g. ANSYS, Hypermesh etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Continuous learning mindset and commitment to staying updated with industry trends.
