Assistant Manager - Safety and Security For real estate sector

Role & responsibilities

Strategic Planning

Overseeing implementation of security systems at all levels in the organization and monitoring incidents and taking corrective actions for continuous improvement.

Sustained profitable operations through focus on budgeting, cost analysis and cost optimization.

Identified, improvised and developed ideas, procedures and methods to establish the highest levels of safety and security.

Identify and develop new equipment and technology for fire prevention, detection and control, thereby ensuring customer satisfaction and organizational profitability.

Security Management

Ensuring the security of equipments, high value assets and implementing counter strategies against sabotage, thefts, fraud, forgery and loss prevention etc.

Installing access control devices, intruder detection and alarm systems, surveillance cameras, bomb detection and other systems to ensure safe entry/exit of personnel and vehicles at large commercial/residential establishments/hotels.

Liaising with local authorities such as Police, Fire, Revenue and District administration.

Safety Management/Fire Fighting

Carryout fire prevention programme and providing training on operation, recharging and procedures on portable and fixed fire extinguishers.

Conducting the fire drill and maintaining fire safety equipment.

Instructing base personnel on the use of fire extinguishers and workplace safety.

Maintenance

Maintenance of all type of fire fighting equipment including wet risers and portable fire extinguishers.

Proactively identify areas of obstruction/breakdowns and take steps to rectify the safety equipments through application of trouble shooting tools.

Training & Development

Imparting training to the security personnel on various security functions through constant on-the-job and class room training.

Training the employees on numerous aspects such as first aid, safety, fire fighting, emergency drills and imparting knowledge about the latest surveillance gadgets.

Liaison

Effective liaison with all Govt. agencies for smooth function of the hotel/commercial establishments and varied type of help to our guests/clients and employees.
