Qualification

1. B.E.

2. Completed BE (Fire) from NFSC or He should have completed training course of Sub Officer course MFSA, Maharashtra.

Experience: 12+ yrs relevant experience in Fire & Rescue Services (Candidate for Uniform services preferred)

OPERATIONAL DUTIES.

1. Considering operational duties person should be strong enough to work under extremely stressful situations and can guide his sub-ordinates for saving life and property.

2. Personally attend and supervise major Emergencies when he feels his presence is necessary. Give guidance or gives advice to the operational supervisors / Teamed if he is not available on site then if supervisor need advice/ guidance then by the way of communication media he will guide.

3. Empowered to take all such necessary steps, as he may think fit under the powers given to him by Authority for protection of life and property for various types of fires, accident and various types of Emergencies.

4. Communicate to other authorities / outside agencies and other necessary aids, those who are directly or indirectly involved in fire fighting and rescue operations which required on site /off site and request them to attend as additional help when needed.

5. To assist in investigating cause of fire and Accident if ask by Govt. Authorities and request Concern Authority for formulating and implementation of fire and safety Rules and regulations if needed.

6. Attend serious emergency as and when called by junior who is on site or as instructed by higher Authority.

7. Knowledge about Topography is necessary, where company is providing services.

8. Competent enough for guiding staff for safe practices, unsafe acts and conditions of operational ground.

9. Check day to day incident reports submitted by supervisors and create summery which will be submit to higher authority as and when required.

10. Take follow up of day to day maintenance of vehicles and equipment.

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

1. Act as Administrative head of the Fire & Rescue Vehicle of Company. Empowered to take necessary steps as he may think fit under the powers given to him by authority for proper administration of Fire& Rescue Vehicle of Company.

2. Empowered to take necessary steps, as he may think fit under the powers given to him by authority for welfare of the staff those who are under him.

3. Responsible for taking necessary disciplinary actions on staff for misbehavior/ misconduct and un- authorized absentee of staff with consultation with management.

4. Empowered to take necessary steps as he may think fit under the powers given to him by authority for maintaining discipline in the Fire & Rescue Vehicle of Company.

5. Advise/ Request the management time to time for formulating and implementation of fire &safety Rules and regulations for proper operational & day to day operations of Fire & Rescue Vehicle of the company.

6. Work for modernization and up gradation of Fire & Rescue Vehicle and its Vehicles and equipment. Give necessary advice to management which will help to improve the operational ground efficiency of the fire Vehicle.

7. Attend meetings of statutory Govt. bodies as and when called with adequate permission/orders from Higher Authority.

8. Attend and organize seminars, workshop to build business relations, and for up-gradating reputation of company under the guidance of Higher Authority.

9. Responsible for recruitment, Training & maintaining discipline in the Fire & Rescue Vehicle.

10. Time to time Keep up dated to the management about Fire & Rescue vehicle of Company and advises for betterment/ development of the Vehicle.

11. Keep Operational, administrative control on all Fire & Rescue Vehicle of Company and take work done by the way of delegating powers to Junior staff.

12. Work for upgrading image of Company by the way of arranging awareness campaign, mock fire drills, rescue drills and evacuation drills.

13. Take necessary steps with consultation to the management for yearly Budgeting, and controlling on expenditure.

14. Empowered to take necessary steps for recruitment, training, refresher course training and transfer of staff, etc. for up grading standard of staff and betterment of Company.

15. Arrange yearly audits of vehicles and equipment and guide sub-ordinate to create proper records/ Documentations, which will re-check frequently and keep control on the same.

16. Carry out frequent inspections of vehicles and equipment considering maintenance and repair.

17. Arrange for replacement of damage equipment and accessories immediately as and when required.

18. Create effective working systems, which will create better working environment in Fire and Rescue Vehicle of the company.

19. Create SOP for operational staff considering various emergencies.

20. Keep check on Fire and Rescue Vehicles for Govt. Approvals such as RTO approvals and maintain adequate records through office staff.

21. Person should be having effective communication skills and fire, rescue, safety, Disaster mitigation depth knowledge which he will utilize in day to day routine work as a HOD.

22. Work for Business development of Company specially fire and rescue vehicles and related services provided by company to various organizations.

23. For Business development creates various presentations and present to Govt. Authorities as and when required.

24. Business development and Marketing is concern keep constant follow-up with various Govt. / Semi Govt. and private organizations where higher authority guide/ instruct.

25. Comply and Give results to any other duties incidental to the above functions or assigned by the management from time to time, depending on the exigencies of the Company
