• Understanding of medical manufacturing standards (ISO 13485, GMP, FDA regulations)
• Knowledge of import/export regulations for medical products
• Adherence to quality control and audit requirements

4. Cost Control & Budgeting

• Cost analysis and reduction strategies
• Budget planning for procurement
• Total cost of ownership (TCO) assessment

5. Technical & Product Knowledge

• Familiarity with medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or consumables
• Understanding of technical specifications and quality parameters
• Awareness of alternative raw materials and substitutes
