Job Summary:

Manage purchase orders, maintaining records, negotiating rates with vendors, following up on material deliveries, sourcing new vendors, understanding purchase requirements, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Experience working with the company on RM/PM/FG procurement is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Purchase Order Management:

• Issue Purchase Orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain detailed records of all purchase orders and related documentation.
• Negotiate competitive pricing and delivery terms with vendors.
• Actively follow up on order deliveries and address any potential delays.
• Source and evaluate new vendors to expand the supplier network.
• Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and procedures.
• Prioritize procurement of Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), and Finished Goods (FG) as per production requirements.

2. Supplier Management:

• Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with suppliers.
• Proactively address any supplier-related issues to ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Monitor supplier performance, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement strategies to enhance supplier relationships and explore cost-saving opportunities.

3. Sourcing & Procurement:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery criteria.
• Conduct thorough market research and negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Ensure timely procurement of RM, PM, and FG, adhering to company policies and procedures.

4. Inventory Management:

• Monitor inventory levels closely to ensure sufficient stock availability for production needs.
• Implement best-in-class inventory management practices to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of inventory control systems.

5. Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on procurement activities, including spend analysis, vendor performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

6. Cost Control & Budgeting:

• Conduct thorough cost analysis of procurement activities to identify areas for cost reduction.
• Develop and manage procurement budgets effectively to ensure cost-efficient operations.
• Proactively recommend cost-saving measures to management to improve overall profitability.

7. Administrative Support:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of bids and tenders as required.
• Provide support to other members of the procurement team as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, or vendor management.
