Key skills for the job
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in documentation to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to translate client requirements into comprehensive documentation, including Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Business Requirement Documents (BRD), and User Manuals.
The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in English and possess excellent communication skills to effectively capture and convey client needs.
Proficiency in tools such as Visio and other design applications is required to create visually appealing and easily understandable documents.
Responsibilities:
1. Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather detailed requirements for projects.
2. Documentation Creation: Translate client requirements into comprehensive documents including FRD, BRD, and User Manuals.
3. Analysis: Analyse requirements to ensure clarity, completeness, and consistency, and identify any gaps or conflicts.
4. Visualization: Utilize tools such as Visio and other design applications to create visually appealing diagrams and charts to represent processes, data flows, and system architectures.
5. Communication: Effectively communicate technical information and concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
6. Review and Revision: Review documentation with clients and stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness, and incorporate feedback as needed.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and project managers to ensure alignment on requirements and documentation.
8. Documentation Maintenance: Maintain and update documentation throughout the project lifecycle to reflect changes and updates.
9. Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance checks on documentation to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
Candidate Profile
1. Bachelors degree in business administration, Computer Science, or related field.
2. 7-10 Yrs. Exp. for Sr. Business Analyst.
3. Strong proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Experience creating documentation including FRD, BRD, and User Manuals.
5. Proficiency in tools such as Visio and other design applications for creating diagrams and visual representations.
6. Analytical mind-set with strong problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
8. Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy and completeness in documentation.
9. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross functional teams.
10. Knowledge of software development methodologies and processes is a plus.
