Freight Broker

Job Responsibilities:

As a Carrier Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients freight moves efficiently and on time. You’ll develop and maintain relationships with carriers, negotiate rates, and manage the lifecycle of each shipment. This is a fast-paced, results-driven position where your communication and problem-solving skills will shine.

• Develop and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers to secure freight opportunities.
  
• Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to maximize profitability.
  
• Source, qualify, and onboard new carriers to expand the company's network.
  
• Monitor freight movement and resolve any issues to ensure timely delivery.
  
• Track shipments and provide real-time updates to customers.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize transportation processes.
  
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies of the USA.
  
• Utilize freight management software to manage loads and documentation efficiently.
  
• Identify market trends and proactively seek new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar logistics role in the USA-based transportation industry.
  
• Strong understanding of freight brokerage operations of OTR and Drayage loads, market trends, and regulations.
  
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  
• Proficiency in freight management systems (TMS), Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
