Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager with experience in IT Sales, specifically in Google Cloud Sales, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales opportunities, managing customer relationships, and leading a team of sales professionals to achieve revenue goals within the region. You will play a key role in expanding the market presence of our products, ensuring the success of sales campaigns, and building long-term client relationships.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership & Strategy: Oversee all customer-facing communication and activities in the region, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Expand sales opportunities by identifying new customers and exploring new revenue streams while maintaining overall profitability.
  • Business Development: Identify and penetrate new opportunities to discover additional sales leads. Expand business in existing accounts while ensuring that product mix and sales balance are optimized.
  • Financial Management: Be responsible for site financials, including budgets, forecasting, and monthly P&L reporting. Ensure the financial health of the region while meeting sales targets.
  • Sales Team Management: Organize, supervise, and direct the work of the sales team. Set clear individual and team sales targets and ensure goals are met or exceeded. Track progress and report on results as needed.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • OEM Relationship Management: Manage relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to ensure smooth coordination and business growth.
  • Marketing Coordination: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute marketing events and campaigns that drive demand generation and enhance market visibility.
  • Reporting & Communication: Provide accurate and timely reports to management on sales activities, progress, and any challenges on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Sales Planning & Execution: Participate in strategic and operational planning, including the development of annual operating budgets. Implement short-term and long-term sales plans to meet business objectives.
  • Training & Development: Continuously train and motivate the sales team through counseling, product education, and team-building activities to ensure ongoing development and improved performance.
  • Customer Insights & Data Analysis: Understand customer needs, how they relate to our products, and use data analysis to drive sales strategy and decision-making.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in IT Sales, specifically in Google Cloud Sales or similar cloud services.
  • Strong background in sales management and leading a team, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients.
  • In-depth understanding of cloud technologies and the Google Cloud ecosystem.
  • Strong relationship management skills, particularly with OEMs and key clients.
  • Experience with financial management in sales, including budget management, forecasting, and P&L oversight.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a sales team towards achieving both individual and collective goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in IT sales with a strong focus on Google Cloud or similar cloud services.
  • Sales Leadership: Previous experience managing and leading a sales team is a must.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
