Senior Mobile Developer - Android Apps (5-6 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain mobile applications using the Android framework.

- Create reusable code assets to avoid code duplication.

- Architecting the modules by keeping scalability in consideration.

- Writing Unit Tests and attempting to have maximum code coverage.

- Provide timely resolutions to support tickets by leveraging deep understanding of the codebase.

- Conduct thorough code reviews, offering insightful feedback to teammates.

- Stay updated with the latest developments in the industry and have technical discussions with the team to exchange ideas.

Requirements :

- Experience of working with Kotlin is mandatory and should have a very good understanding of Kotlin Coroutine & Flows.

- Proficiency in Android Jetpack Compose with a willingness to learn the counterpart technologies.

- Good understanding of mobile programming fundamentals like threading, efficient local database design, caching, internationalization, themes, geolocation, firebase and other such essentials.

- Proven problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to create root cause analyses.

- A Team player with exceptional cross-team communication and collaboration skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)

- Solid understanding of Version Control Systems such as Git.

Nice to have :

- Contributions to open-source or personal projects showcasing expertise in Android Jetpack Compose, iOS SwiftUI, or KMM.

- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.

- Knowledge of Clean Architecture and MVVM paradigms.

- Experience working with Backend Developers to appropriately architect the APIs to be consumed in mobile apps or should have some experience building backend APIs.

- Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Github actions for setting up release pipelines.

- Experience with app deployment to Play Store or App Store platforms
