About the job:
Key Responsibilities:
Market Development & Client Acquisition:
- Drive Neofoods' business expansion in the Indian market by identifying and acquiring potential clients, including manufacturers, distributors, and food companies.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships, understand their needs, and provide suitable food ingredient solutions and technical support.
Sales Targets & Performance:
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed company sales targets.
- Monitor sales progress to ensure the timely signing and execution of contracts.
Industry Research & Trend Analysis:
- Stay updated on market dynamics, competitive landscape, and regulatory policies in India's food industry.
- Collect customer feedback and market demands to support product development and strategic decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with supply chain, technical support, and platform operations teams to ensure timely delivery of products and fulfillment of customer needs.
- Coordinate internal resources to provide the best customer service experience.
Brand Promotion & Customer Education:
- Participate in trade shows, seminars, and other promotional events to enhance Neofoods' brand presence in the Indian market.
- Educate clients about Neofoods' platform value and technical strengths to build trust and long-term partnerships.
Skills & Qualifications:
Professional Skills:
- In-depth understanding of India's food industry and B2B sales, preferably in food ingredients.
- Strong business negotiation and client management skills, with the ability to independently develop and nurture client relationships.
Personal Attributes:
- Results-oriented with strong self-motivation and resilience under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Adaptability to a multicultural work environment and effective collaboration with global teams.
Education & Experience:
- Master's/Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, International Trade, Food Science, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in the food industry or B2B sales; experience in food ingredients is a plus.
Language Skills:
- Proficient in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in Hindi or other local Indian languages is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Candidates with strong networks and resources in the food industry are highly desirable.
- Experience working in multinational companies, familiar with international business practices and team collaboration.
