Business Development Manager (BDM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Sr. Marketing manager and identify business growth opportunities in given territory (y)
• Development of new verticals ( category, market, customer, etc) (y)
• avCarry out Gap Analysis & prepare Market Survey report (a)
• Customer communication/ Be the front face (d)
• Manage and lead all new inquiries/buying trips activities with help of MSG, PD & Creative team (d)
• Travel to assigned markets (m)
• Back office co-ordination with all concerned departments for smooth and timely execution of order (d)
• Check point for all Assistant Merchandisers responsibilities (d)
• Follow up for payment in case of delays (a)
• Frequently visiting the plant for planning and production review (a)

Major Duties

• Develop brand distribution business in Africa.
• Manage distributors across assigned territory.
• Represent International business in front of customer during fairs, and customer meetings and visits.
• Have a complete control on order execution and coordinate with each of the teams involved.
• Prepare report of market research report and review the same every buying season.

Experience (Industry type & Duration):

• Essential: Minimum 8 years experience in working with Stationery manufacturing companies having developed Africa & Middle East & Latin America
• Preferred: Experience from stationery industry in export business
