BROAD FUNCTIONS:
Prepare Mechanical Design of sheet metal and busbar parts, accessories, enclosure assemblies, busbar assemblies for IEC range of LV Power Distribution, MDB, s, ATS, MCC,s , SMDB,s & Control Systems, Package SS and Unit SS.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Collect and study all inputs related to assigned project, ask for any further clarification needed.
2. Prepare, update, and maintain 3D models for sheet metal parts, copper parts, sub-assemblies and assemblies.
3. Prepare fabrication drawing (flat pattern drawings) for CNC programing, fabrication and 2D geometrical drawings for validation.
4. Prepare Bill of Material (BOM) for production and Bill of Quantity (BOQ) for procurement.
5. Prepare assembly drawings to define assembly instructions and check lists.
6. Proactively address Production and QA/QC issues.
7. Provide support to estimation / tendering team to create new or custom configurations for pricing.
8. Input all information in master product database and maintain all documents on server.
9. Follow ISO/ applicable procedure and provide weekly status report to direct supervisor/manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education required:
- BE Engineer Mechanical/ Diploma With minimum of 5 Years Experience.
Experience required:
- He / She must have 3 to 5 years working experience in same role and same product/equipment for Saudi Arabia and/or GCC manufacturer / market.
- He / She must have application knowledge of related IEC, NEMA, IEEE standards and major end user specifications in Saudi Arabia and GCC.
- He / She must have knowledge about LV components and systems from Eaton, Siemens, ABB, Legrand, Schneider and must be an expert with one of them at least.
- He / She must have knowledge about LV Panel MDB,s SMDB,s ATS, MCC,s.
- He / She must have knowledge about how to design and select the Bus Bars.
Skills required:
- Communication skills effective communication with colleagues and clients.
- Problem solving – ability to solve related issues as quickly as possible.
- Teamwork – able to work professionally with colleagues and clients and to work under pressure.
- Software – hands on experience Autodesk Inventor or Solid Works.
- General Software – hands on experience with MS Office programs
