Automation tendering and Estimation Engineer Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Tendering and Estimation Specialist with a strong background in design / engineering / commissioning in renewable energy, oil & gas, industrial automation SCADA, DCS, PLC systems to develop proposals for complex projects.

This role will involve developing detailed technical and commercial proposals, liaising with clients to understand project requirements, and ensuring accurate estimations to support business growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in electrical/ Electronics/ instrumentation engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in tendering, estimation, design, site testing and commissioning or project engineering within oil and gas, power plants, or similar industries.
• In-depth knowledge of SCADA systems, PLC programming, automation solutions, and renewable energy technologies, specifically solar.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate estimation.
• Excellent communication skills

• Strong expertise design / engineering / commissioning in renewable energy, oil & gas, industrial automation SCADA, DCS , PLC systems to develop proposals for complex projects.
• Develop and submit comprehensive technical and commercial proposals in response to client inquiries.
• Perform detailed cost estimation, incorporating material, labor, and third-party services, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
• Collaborate with clients to clarify project requirements, technical specifications, and timelines, ensuring proposals meet or exceed expectations.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed project documentation, including technical specifications, bill of quantities, and project execution strategies
