Tool Design Engineer

• Role and Responsibilities
• Create detailed designs for mitering block, tooling, dies, jig and fixtures according to the final product used in the sheet metal manufacturing process, ensuring they meet quality and production requirements.
• Perform regular tests and experiments to determine how to better improve a component.
• Solid modeling, Detailing & Drafting, Checking of Drawings.
• Prepare Production & Procurement BOM by scrap calculation.
• Use various IS, ISO Standards. Selection of Raw Material & BOPs.
• Support Operations and Process Engineering in the use of all tooling.
• Design and develop mechanical systems, keeping in mind the budget, timelines, and other essential resources.
• Collaborate with the CNC machining team to develop toolpaths and programs for CNC VMC machines to manufacture tooling and fixtures.

Maintain accurate records, including design specifications, drawings, and project documentation.
