Field Inspection (Agriculture Commodities) - SGS India - North

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Verify stock levels by counting and weighing products on-site to maintain accurate inventory records.
  
• Identify defects, anomalies, or potential issues during inspections and report findings to stakeholders.
  
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or concerns related to product quality or quantity.
  
• Maintain detailed reports of inspection results for future reference.
  
• Conduct field inspections of agricultural commodities at storage facilities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Will be responsible for complete stock verification.

Candidate Profile:

• Should have experience of at least five years in one or more of the following fields storage, assaying, inspection or testing of agricultural/ non-agricultural commodities, warehousing, logistics, and supply chain management.
• A minimum graduate degree in science (including engineering and technology graduates), agriculture or allied sciences.
• Must have conducted at least five inspections/audits/certifications of warehouses, firms and entities engaged in warehousing, logistics, commodity management, food storage, processing and food safety.
• Should have good IT skills and conversant with working on online reporting system including email, internet etc.
• Should be preferably a trained and licensed assayer
