Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Analyst to join our dynamic team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to deal flow generation, executive relationship management, and business development initiatives within the private equity domain.

Key Responsibilities:

Relationship Building:

- Proactively connect and collaborate with industry professionals to expand SGP's network.

- Establish and nurture new relationships with target companies and founders to source potential opportunities.

Deal Sourcing & Campaigns:

- Lead outreach campaigns to engage potential investment opportunities.

- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of companies aligned with SGP's investment criteria.

Market Research & Analysis:

- Conduct market mapping to identify new sectors, trends, and opportunities.

- Initiate and evaluate prospective investment opportunities.

Operational Support:

- Maintain accurate and updated data in internal systems (experience with Salesforce is a plus).

- Assist in creating impactful marketing and branding collateral for SGP.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field (e.g., BBA, B. Com, BSc Finance).

Experience:

- 1-2 years in business development within financial services, private equity, venture capital, or investment banking deal sourcing.

Key Skills:

- Proven track record in networking and building relationships with senior executives.

- Proficiency in creating effective marketing materials and outreach campaigns.

- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to maintain data integrity.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

- Ability to manage multiple assignments and adapt to varied situations with ease.
