Quality Engineer

JOB DETAIL

Responsible for understanding process and product requirements and ensuring its compliances in the manufacturing process inline with the QMS and Customer Quality requirements to enhance the customer satisfaction.

Interfacing with Customers on customers related to Quality under the guidance of reporting officer or Head of quality.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist HOQ in all quality related activities.
• Initiate production permit.
• Prepare control charts.
• Initiate SCAR/ Process and Final NCs and monitor the effective closure
• Maintain and update Master List of Measuring Equipment.
• Maintain and update Calibration History for Measuring Equipment.
• Train the operators in general quality aspects.
• Ensure that the finished products undergo final inspection as per the WI for Final Inspection.
• Ensures corrective and preventive action/ Risk analysis is taken for all system and product non-conformance
• Implement all Quality techniques like 7QC, 8D, SPC, MSA, Process Capability studies in the manufacturing process to reduce the process and customer rejection under HOQ guidance to enhance customer satisfaction
• Arrange the Internal QC meetings and its Minutes updates to HOQ
• Monitoring the Process performance charts and maintain its display systems
• Supplier and customer interactions under HOQ guidance based on the needs
• Participating all Quality related trainings and its effective implementations
• Preparation of Control charts for IQC, Process and Final and its updates
• All Quality related documents updates and its record maintenance in the shop floor on daily basis in line with the QMS requirements.
• Participate NPI programs and its effective implementation in the manufacturing process to implement the right requirements right from beginning.
• Grape chart maintenance and work for improvements
• Stop the production in case of non-conformance.
• Approve the first of component and give clearance for production.
• Participate internal audits if qualified internal auditor
• Incoming inspection of FAI RM, production and shipment of first article FG.

JOB QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• Basic Engineering Degree/ Diploma in any Discipline Electronics/Electrical Preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in EMS or similar industry
• ISO 9001:2015 QMS knowledge
• Must have the knowledge on Quality tools like 7QC, 8D, MSA, SPC, etc and concepts like POKA-YOKE, Kaizen etc.
