Engineer - Quality

• Conduct and supervise routine inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications.
• Develop and implement testing protocols and procedures for new and existing products.
• Create and update quality assurance documentation, including quality plans, inspection reports, and corrective action plans.
• Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective action plans to address quality issues.
• Ensure all quality control activities comply with industry standards such as ASTM, ISO, and API.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits and certifications.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
• Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards and practices.
• Communicate quality issues and corrective actions to management and other relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed reports on quality inspections, test results, and audits.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and product quality data.
• Prepare and present quality performance summaries to senior management.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field. Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ) is a plus.
