Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Revenue Leadership:

  • Lead the entire sales revenue for all SFA products sold to schools and academies, encompassing Championships, Check/Assessments, Coach/Training, Schools Premier League, and other future initiatives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue across all product lines.

2. Strategic Relationship Management:

  • Establish and nurture strategic relationships with key schools in the assigned state/city.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand partnerships and enhance engagement with key stakeholders in these schools.

3. Sales Target Achievement:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and surpass targeted registrations for the state/city.
  • Conduct strategic visits to schools with AM/AEs to drive maximum registrations from targeted institutions.

4. Market Expansion and Identification:

  • Identify new and untapped schools within the state/city to expand our market reach and increase championship participation.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.

5. High-Level Sales Engagement:

  • Lead high-level sales engagements with school principals, parent/teacher organizations, yearbook advisors, student groups, coaches, athletic directors, and league sports administrators.
  • Leverage consultative selling techniques to understand and address the needs of various stakeholders.

6. Operational Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and oversee the execution of detailed schedules, event dates, and manpower requirements for the championships.
  • Ensure all operational aspects of the championships are meticulously planned and executed.

7. Team Leadership and Development:

  • Build and lead the necessary sales team to execute the sales strategy effectively.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop state/city-wide sales teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with school owners and principals, positioning our company as the partner of choice for inter-school championships.

8. CRM and Reporting:

  • Ensure effective utilization and maintenance of our CRM systems for tracking sales activities and prospecting efforts.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to the VP of Sales, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the education or sports industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale sales operations and achieving ambitious sales targets.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned state/city.
